“Basic Computer Literacy” for Adults"

The “Basic Computer Literacy” is designed for adults to help people in poverty become more employable.  The initial class was two students were clients of Washington State Labor & Industries who were being re-trained for other employment.  This initial class started July 6, 2009.  A second class of two students began on October 5, 2009.  The third class is scheduled to begin February 22, 2010.

The “Basic Computer Literacy” course will include instruction on basic computer, Internet use, word processing and spreadsheets.  Each of these four sections will be broken down into short 2-hour modules of learning for a total of twenty-one sessions.
